A SURPRISE declaration by ESA Field Pickwick ended in disaster after ICBL Empire accepted the challenge and won by eight wickets on the final day of their Barbados Cricket Association’s second round Elite Division match yesterday.

Openers Craig St Hill and Kyle Hope posted an opening stand of 229 in 45 overs with little bother.
