Marchers vent

THE MARCHERS yesterday expressed strong feelings about why they were there.

Ruby Burrowes said Government had robbed her of her rights so she was marching for others’ rights.

Mohommed Mohamad said he was there to make a statement as Government needed pressure placed on it in light of their “nasty comments”.

“In 1937 we put pressure on them and again now; this is just exercising for them but not us; Grantley Adams can’t be rolling in his grave for nothing,” he said. (CA)
