Pro Shottas, Kickstart reign

PRO SHOTTAS and Kickstart FC are the junior champions of the inaugural Barbados Football Association National Youth Cup.

Despite the showers, which caused much slipping on the wet surface at the Kirkstart Club in Wildey yesterday, Pro Shottas secured a 3-0 victory against Brittons Hill in the Under-9 division.

At the end of the first 20-minute half, the scores were locked at 0-0. However, after the break, Pro Shottas came back with a bang, scoring three goals in quick succession courtesy of Ahron Lovell, Ethan Rollock and Jules O’Garro.

Coach Isa Went said they had succeeded in their main aim of shutting down the opposing team’s star player, Thierry “Messi” Clauzel. (RA)
