HELP US HELP YOU!
This was the plea from Divisional Officer and Senior Superintendent in the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF), Eucklyn Thompson, who urged residents of Cane Vale and Gall Hill in Christ Church to report any suspicious people lurking in their community.
He was speaking yesterday as he and the top brass of the Southern Division did a walkthrough of those districts. The heavy police presence followed the deaths of Orwin Moore, who was shot in Cane Vale on Sunday night, and Shawn Taylor, also gunned down at Mullion Road, Gall Hill, 24 hours later. Taylor’s death brought the island’s murder count for the year to 24.
Thompson urged the residents to be their brother’s keeper. (TG)
