WHY IS IT that all too often the bad guys and gals get more publicity in our newspapers than the good folk?

Take for instance some pages devoted to court crimes. Why portray photographs as if the perpetrators of crime were heroes or role models?

A criminal-to-be might well think that's a good way to be "recognised" in the world of gang warfare.

Instead, let us have more photographs and stories of good guys and gals of all ages. The ones who contribute their time, energy and expertise to help others in our community and who work towards the betterment of our country. We have a great number of unsung heroes in our midst and they deserve recognition.
