A SCHOOLGIRL and two women were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) yesterday morning after a four-vehicle collision on the Graeme Hall, Christ Church section of the ABC Highway.

Maria Priddee and Donna Priddee of Warners Park, Christ Church, had to be rescued from the van in which they were travelling, after it ended up on its side on the opposite side of the highway in the path of traffic heading toward Bridgetown.

A student of Foundation School was also taken to the QEH. She was travelling in a car driven by Christopher Sargeant, of Silver Hill Village, Christ Church.

Police said none of the injuries was life-threatening.

The other vehicles in the crash were two vans driven by Raymond Moore, of Oldbury Terrace, St Philip, and Kenrick Mason, of Bath Village, St John.

The accident, which occurred at 9:05 a.m., forced police to divert traffic for several hours as the road was impassable. (MB)

thanks for the fix : 1/19/2010
like the last comment, i noticed you all had the picture wrong. thank you for fixing that, but as it was my mother and aunt in the accident (donna & maria) they weren't in a van, but a car. the little white car on it's side was the car that my mother donna priddee and aunt maria pridde were in as the they were hit by a speading car in the back.

Last sentence of the article "The accident, which occurred at 9:05 a.m., forced police to divert traffic for several hours as the road was impassable. " If you can do nothing else , please be accurate in your reporting.
