A HAT-TRICK from rising star Diquan Adamson spurred Coleridge & Parry to a thrilling 6-5 win over Trident Sunsplash Parkinson Memorial as the Coca-Cola Barbados Secondary Schools Senior Football League continued at the Pine on Monday.
Adamson, who last September spent a week at English Premier League club Sunderland's Academy of Light as part of Digicel's Kick Start Caribbean programme, topped another treble from Parkinson's prolific scorer Keimar Headley.
It was Parkinson's first loss in competitive Zone 1 and took their record to two wins and one loss. Coleridge & Parry were bouncing back from an opening defeat at the hands of St. James.
St James, edged out 1-0 by Parkinson last Friday, kept in contention as Ron Pile's hat-trick inspired a 3-1 victory over Lester Vaughan on Monday.
In Zone 2, defending champions Pine Hill St. Leonard's scored their second successive victory on Friday, topping Deighton Griffith 2-0 with captain Kadeem Atkins again on the scoresheet.
In Zone 3, Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic also made it two wins in two with a 3-1 win over Princess Margaret.
