IN SPITE OF PERSISTENT RAIN, which normally exacerbates traffic flow problems in Barbados, there were very few back-to-school headaches yesterday.
Thousands of children returned to the classroom for the start of the Michaelmas term, but the traffic flowed freely for the most part.
A NATION team in the St Michael area moved easily from Tweedside Road to Warrens and Eagle Hall, with the only snarl being encountered along Spooner’s Hill, where pupils from Lawrence T. Gay Memorial were making their way through the traffic.
There was very little traffic at the D’Arcy Scott Roundabout, with the longest line easing along the Ronald Mapp Highway in the area of Simpson Motors. (SAT/KB/RL/RM/AD)
