Hurt by a bully

THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION could be facing legal action, following an alleged case of bullying at a high-profile St Michael primary school.
A five-year-old child is nursing a broken arm after she reportedly fell while trying to escape a beating from a classmate and an accompanying “army” exactly one week ago today.
The irate mother of the victim told the DAILY NATION she was seeking legal redress because she had drawn the situation to the attention of the school’s principal and the offender’s mother, but the situation was allowed to escalate to the point where her daughter’s right arm has to be in a cast for up to eight weeks.
“I’m going all the way with this. The school was warned; the teacher was warned; the parent was warned. I spoke to everybody. I put it in two letters to the school,” she said.
