Crab Hill ‘warfare’

Date:

Share post:

Just over a month after gunplay reigned in Crab Hill, St Lucy, resulting in the death of one of its residents, a group of Christians marched on Sunday to reclaim the area for God.

However, not everyone felt the effort was worth it, as some residents said it was a case of too little, too late.

Around 100 worshippers hailing from Selah Methodist Church, Crab Hill Wesleyan Holiness, Crab Hill Evangelistic Centre, Crab Hill New Testament Church of God, Church of God Reformation Movement, Holy Trinity House of Prayer, Connell Town Pentecostal House of Prayer and the Salvation Army, as well as supporters from other churches, gathered near North Stars Cricket Club to begin a peace and prayer procession.

Participants drove cars from throughout the district, stopping at various points for “warfare” prayer, before ending at the New Testament Church. (CA)
