TO HELP CURB the problem of bullying in the islands’ schools, a group of bikers is working with the Parkinson Memorial School to undertake a programme called Black Knight Bikers against Bullying.
Today, they unveiled a billboard at the school before they embarked on a bike ride through St Michael and Christ Church.
President Fabian Reeves said the group would lend their voice to the anti-bullying effort by using the popularity of the bikes with the children. He noted that children loved bikes and they wanted to use the biker image positively and encourage them [children] to refrain from bullying.
The group plans to visit the school for one-on-one sessions and will appoint two students to act as Black Knight Bullying Rangers to work within their school. (LK)
