Community club hosting silver dollar drive

ADDITIONAL HELP will soon be on the way for the disadvantaged members of the society.

The fledgling Waterford, St Michael-based Community Services for the Disadvantaged Social Club is holding a Silver Dollar Drive Fun Day & Fair at Jubilee Gardens on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. to assist the disabled and disadvantaged children.

President of the club Desmond Hoyte is inviting people to come out and give generously so that they can achieve their $6 000 target. Hoyte said the Silver Dollar Drive is one aspect of the club’s Rebuilding Our Nation project. (YB)
