Cool and comfy again in A&E
Published on: 9/23/07.
THE AIR CONDITIONING system at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) has been fixed since last Friday.
In a Press release yesterday, Ricardo Blackman, public relations consultant for the QEH, said it had been encountering several challenges with the air conditioning system which was the cause of some concern to the staff of the Accident & Emergency Department (A&E).
On Friday, around 30 staff members of the A&E Department walked off the job complaining of conditions being too hot to work in because of malfunctioning air-conditioning units.
However, Blackman said the conditions complained of were back to normal from as early as 9 a.m. (CA/PR)
