She has been awarded the Service Excellence Award on completion of the Customer Champion Professional Certification Programme.
The course, which is sponsored by Cornerstone Professional Development and its Customer Champion Institute of Mesa, Arizona, United States, serves hundreds of client organisations worldwide.
The company is best known for its Customer Astonishment training programme that "raises the bar" for customer care and help organisations build a culture of service excellence.
Cornerstone president and founder, Darby Checketts, said that Inniss was the first person in the Caribbean region to receive this recognition.
"We are impressed with the creativity and professionalism she demonstrated in completing the certification requirements and congratulate her for exceptional dedication to her customers," said Checketts.
Inniss' success was hailed by Marcia Carrington, president of the Barbados Association of Office Professionals (BAOP), of which she is a long-serving member.
Carrington noted that Inniss was a dedicated, hardworking member of the association who is living up to BAOP's theme Release Your Talents And Explore New Opportunity.
