Barbadian-born Robyn Rhianna Fenty has done it again.

The 18-year-old beauty is among the top awardees at the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards, held on Wednesday in London.

Rhianna who performed her single Unfaithful live at the MOBO Awards, won the award for Best R & B artist.

She was nominated in that category against artistes such as: Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Mary J Blige and Ne-Yo.

She adds this along to her awards for Best International Artist 2006 at the Much Music Video Awards, as well as Choice R & B Artist and Choice Breakout Female Artist from the 2006 Teen Choice Awards.

Several British artists won awards this year, but in past years the MOBO awards have been criticized for favouring American artists. That not withstanding, on Wednesday night it was US R&B star Beyonce who took the most awards.

She won a hat-trick for Best International Female, Best Song and Best Video for the track "Deja Vu" featuring Jay Z.

Other American winners were the Black Eyed Peas for Best Group, beating Gnarls Barkley, OutKast, the Pussycat Dolls and the Streets, while the Best International Male award went to Jay Z.

This year, jazz fans protested outside the venue against the removal of that music category from the awards.

"Mobo appears to have forgotten their original purpose," a spokesman for the protest said. "The removal of the jazz category undermines the original spirit of the Mobo awards and ignores the place of jazz in the heritage of black music and its influence on all other forms of popular music."

In the reggae category, Sean Paul defeated Damian Marley, the son of the late world famous Bob Marley, who had been expected to win.

The Mobo award show was broadcast live on the British Broadcasting Corp. for the first time and featured performances from last year's big winner Lemar, who picked up the award for Best UK Male.

*Best DJ: Steve Sutherland

*Best African Act: Batman Samini
