POPULAR JOURNALIST Terry Mayers remains critically ill after more than a week in the Intensive Care Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

When the DAILY NATION spoke with his wife Janelle yesterday morning, she said he was still in the same condition.

Mayers had fallen ill and had to be hospitalised after suffering a severe asthma attack 11 days ago.

On Saturday, a four-hour prayer vigil with family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers was held to pray for an improvement in his health.
