GEORGETOWN – West Indies captain Ramnaresh Sarwan warmed up for the KFC Cup with an exhilarating century in the Division One 40-overs tournament on Saturday.

Sarwan stroked an unbeaten 119 [eight fours and five sixes] for the Georgetown Cricket Club as they crushed Transport Sports Club by 230 runs at Bourda.

At Malteenoes, West Indies Youth team captain Steven Jacobs blasted a belligerent 129 in the hosts' win over the Ghandi Youth Organisation. Jacobs will lead the West Indies Under-19 in the KFC Cup. (CMC)
