SHAREHOLDERS of Barbados Shipping & Trading (BS&T) have less than 24 hours to accept Neal & Massy's offer to purchase their shares.

With less than 15 per cent of BS&T's outstanding shares still in the hands of some BS&T shareholders, the Trinidadian conglomerate extended the offer as part of a negotiated settlement with the Barbados Securities Commission to discontinue legal action against it and to lift the cease-trade order the Commission imposed on Neal & Massy trading in BS&T shares.

The offer expires at 4 p.m. today. (GE)
