DAVID HAREWOOD, his wife, two children and two grandchildren lost their St Christopher, Christ Church home to fire yesterday.

Nothing was saved from the insured stone and timber house.

Member of Parliament for Christ Church South, Dr Jerome Walcott, who was on the scene, said Harewood and his wife, Marcia, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance suffering with chest pains and respiratory ailments.

Walcott, who said he would be assisting the family with clothing and foodstuff, contacted the National Housing Corporation who were working on accommodation. In the interim, he said he would be seeking to get accommodation for the family at a hotel. (CA)
