3 held in drug haul

TWO NON-NATIONALS and a Barbadian are expected to appear in the District "B" Magistrates' Court today in connection with a million-dollar cocaine seizure Wednesday night.
Police said the three were held by Drug Squad officers at Long Beach, Christ Church, after they were discovered with more than 55 pounds of cocaine in their car.
*In another incident, a man was shot by police near the Shell Gas Station, Wildey, St Michael, after he attempted to elude officers by fleeing from the vehicle he was driving.
The man, who was treated and discharged at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, allegedly pointed a gun in a threatening manner at lawmen to prevent his arrest
He is expected to be charged with having a firearm and five bullets. (TS/PR)
