NEW DELHI – The Indian Cricket Board stands ready to find a replacement for the West Indies if the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) cannot confirm its participation in the tri-series, in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur next month.

The WICB said it had not yet made a commitment to play in the tournament that includes Australia, and would need to reach an agreement first with the players' association.

New Zealand and Sri Lanka are the teams the Indian board have asked to be on standby.
