Call to 'rally round' Business Club Barbados

BUSINESS CLUB BARBADOS is calling on all local businesses to join in as it plays host to business visitors in Barbados for the International Cricket Council's Cricket World Cup 2007, April 10 through 30.
In its latest Business Connect newsletter the club, which falls under the auspices of Legacy Barbados, announced its partnership with Cricket Legends Inc. to establish a business centre at soon-to-be-completed Herbert House on Fontabelle, St Michael.
"The Business Centre will facilitate one-to-one meetings between visiting businesspeople and their local counterparts; requests for one-to-one meetings with potential business partners in Barbados, or to provide information on doing business and investing here.
"Business publications on the local business environment and opportunities will be made available and visitors may use the centre to browse the Internet or make contact with their home business.
"The Cricket Legends will also be offering a full entertainment package at the same location and, in addition to the Business Centre's activities, visitors will have an opportunity to meet and greet some of the Cricket Legends," stated the newsletter.
Activities begin April 10 with the opening of the Business Centre and the launch of the Business Connect Exposition, which will run for the 20 days the centre is open.
On April 13, 20 and 25 the Business Club will host its Open House Nights where visitors can meet and
mingle with Barbadian businesspeople and the Cricket Legends. Investment Tours to local businesses and investment projects are also being organised.
