The 2008 edition, under the command of Captain Edgard Riberio DeSilva, commander of the Naval Patrol of the North, is composed of the flagship Bocaina, and the vessels Graja´u, Guaiba and Guaruj´a.
The group arrived in Barbados yesterday with 28 officers and 131 sailors.
Today, the ships' crews will be part of a community programme, helping to refurbish Lily Cot at the Nightengale Home in Black Rock, St. Michael from 10 a.m. (BA)
