BERNARD FROST: "I am in a good place a great family, good health and a challenging role in a solid organisation."

Bernard Frost is group marketing manager of Bankds (Barbadaos) Breweries Limited.
Q: Are you where you have always wanted to be?
A: I'm afraid not. By now I wanted to be well retired with lots of money and nothing to worry about but I've always been a bit of a dreamer. However, I am in a good place a great family, good health and a challenging role in a solid organisation. I think I'm better off than most and for this I'm grateful.
Q: What is your biggest professional challenge?
A: Finding the time and space for strategic planning. It's incredible that no matter how efficient one tries to be, the day fills up with tasks each one more important than the other and the "to do" list seems to get longer rather than shorter.
Q: What is your biggest life challenge?
A: Catching up with our two boys and then trying to keep up with them.
Q: When you look to the future, what do you see?
A: A Barbados as a model small island economy that has not only endured, but has prospered.
Q: What is your favourite pastime?
A: An afternoon of tennis at Summerhayes Tennis Club.
Q: What is your favourite meal?
A: Anything served with a Banks Beer!!!
Q: On Saturday nights where are you likely to be?
A: At home with my family, just like every other night.
Q: What upsets you the most?
A: Litter and ZRs.
Q: What is your guiding philosophy?
A: Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
Q: If you had a chance to manage Barbados for a day, what would you do?
A: Sleep in, because Barbados is doing well as we are.
