SCOTT FOSTER AND JUDD COZIER are the new faces on the Hoerman Cup team for the Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships in Jamaica next week.
Cozier, 32, fresh from winning the FirstCaribbean Gross title, comes in for Sean Edey, who has an injured wrist.
The hard-working Cozier warmed up for the Caribbean championships with scores of 74 and 73.
The squad, headed by manager Charles Edey, also includes new faces in the mid-amateurs (Ansari Muhajiri and Terry Hanton) and super seniors (William Weir and John Reid).
The Hoerman Cup team includes Carlsen Leacock and Billy Tempro and the island's top player James Johnson, a qualifier for the World Cup in December.
Johnson competed in the Players Amateur Tournament in the United States earlier this month and has just returned from Canada.
The women's team comprises Claire Jordan and Jaime Hole. Teenager Mary Ince was named as the reserve.
The seniors are the familiar names of Ricky Skeete and Robert Piggott.
The Caribbean championships will be played for four days starting Wednesday. (PR/BA)
