RACE FANS will get an opportunity to punt for substantial sums of money which were not won on Digicel Barbados Guineas Day on Monday and which are being carried over to the next race day on May 12.

The single biggest sum is $7 500, the amount being carried forward from the Hi-5 which was not won in Race 5 last race day.

In the Hi 5 punters have to get the first five placed horses in correct order, but no one was successful in getting the combination of Shy Boy/Ribo Tango/Tiger Cat/Turbulent Guy/What A Splash in The Digicel Live Condition event. As a result, this amount will be at stake next race day.

Punters also failed to get the correct superfecta combination of Body 'N'Soul/Ma Cherie/Time D'or/Why Not Dance in the Digi Info Condition, the day's final race, and as a result the amount going forward on the superfecta is $3 909.60.

The final amount being carried forward is the $2 000 which was the minimum guaranteed payment on the Pick Four, which no one correctly picked for Races 4, 5, 6 and 9.

However, it is felt among some race fans that in addition to the guaranteed amount of $2 000 for the Pick 4 which was not won, the club should also add to that some of the money punted on the Pick 4 last race day, thereby increasing the amount to be guaranteed next
race day.
