ST JOHN'S, Antigua – The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) has appointed Anthony Deyal as its Corporate Services Manager (CSM).

Deyal assumes this new WICB post from tomorrow.

"Anthony (Tony) Deyal has been appointed Corporate Services Manager (CSM) of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) with effect from September 1, 2006," the WICB stated in a release yesterday afternoon.

New position

"The new post of CSM includes responsibility for the functions of corporate secretary, corporate communications, human resources management and industrial relations," the WICB stated.

Deyal has "considerable management experience" at national, regional and international levels, the release said.

He is also a columnist for several newspapers in the region and a passionate West Indies cricket fan. (CMC)
