THE BARBADOS CRICKET ASSOCIATION'S (BCA) annual awards ceremony was held at the Amaryllis Beach Resort on Friday night.

Players, and clubs, who performed outstandingly during the 2007 domestic cricket season were rewarded for their performances.

Among those receiving awards was veteran left-arm spinner Winston Reid of Banks, who was voted one of the five "Cricketers Of The Year".

It was his last season in Division 1 cricket, and as he has done throughout his career, Reid set the bowling standard.
