DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Run-a-Ball Crew retained their title when they defeated People's Choice Hillswick by 44 runs in the recent final of the Carib Dale Marshall St Joseph Tapeball Competition.
Batting first, before a very large Saturday night crowd at St Elizabeth, Run-a-Ball Crew amassed 160 for nine in 20 overs, with Man Of The Match Lamar Wiggins hitting the topscore of 38.
Hillswick were then dismissed for 116, with fast bowler Jamal Noel taking three for 24.
Run-a-Ball Crew collected $2 000, while Hillswick earned $1 500, and Wiggins $150 for his award.
