Police, Oilers and JDs slam hardest

AT THE END of the 11th series of games in the Lord Willoughby and Lucky Horseshoe-sponsored three-hand league series; Police, BNOC Oilers and JDs head the Division One standings with 116, 114 and 112 points respectively.
With two series of games left to be played, the front-runners will have to be beware of danger teams Hillside (108 points), St Joseph (100) and three-hand stalwarts Cave Shepherd who trail on 98 points.
The St Thomas-based Welchman Hall slammers on 108 points are in a commanding position to be the champions of Division Two as they have a six-point lead on their closest rivals QEH Climbers.
Among domino enthusiasts, this division holds the greatest interest and many will be following closely the upcoming performances of danger teams: Dream Team (100), Speightstown (98), Checker Hall (96) and Braves on (96) points
In Division Three, De Green Floor slammers are tied at the top of the standings with the Deacons Road-based Proper Pork on 106 points.
The much feared QEH C slammers are tied with De Gulf on 100 points and remain an ever present threat to the leaders. Other teams in close contention are Kiwi, Eastbourne and BNOC Field who have amassed 100, 96 and 95 points respectively.
