DANNY CHESHAM has starred all season with the bat.
Now he's doing it with the ball as well.
The prolific St Gabriel's batsman slammed a quick-fire 69 before returning to take three wickets as his side reached the last eight of the Guardian General Herman Griffith Primary Schools' Competition with a resounding 81-run victory over Eden Lodge yesterday.
Playing at Friendship, Chesham's belligerent knock and an unbeaten 40 from Brandon Sidaway piloted the C2 Zone champs to an imposing 164 for three off their allotted 25 overs.
Chesham then came back with the ball to start Eden Lodge's slide, which was further cemented by Zachary Nowell's similar three-wicket haul as the Zone D2 side never threatened.
St Gabriel's will meet Ignatius Byer at the same venue on Wednesday.
Also slated for Wednesday are last year's final rematch between champs Wesley Hall and Charles F. Broome, at Blenheim, and the clash between Luther Thorne and Roland Edwards at the Desmond Haynes Complex.
Tuesday's lone fixture will be between Bayley's and St Christopher at Dover.
