THE 22nd Fine Craft Festival is poised to begin next month.
This year's annual event, organised by the Barbados Museum and Historical Society, boasts of increased exhibitors and includes a culinary arts display.
Marketing officer of the museum, Christine Skeete, said the festival promoted Bajan heritage through art and craft.
Speaking yesterday after the official launch of the festival at the museum, St Ann's Fort, The Garrison, St Michael, she said the 77 exhibitors represented a record number.
The festival begins on the first Saturday of December from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature innovative local culinary twists as well as jewellery, home furnishings and personal care items.
Skeete said she was pleased with the support of corporate Barbados. However, she said they did not have any new sponsors and she was hoping to see more businesses sign up. (CA)
