Hal says it in song for those who believed

Published on: 11/7/2009.

HAL LINTON showed last night why his talent is considered world class.

Perform at an appreciation album preview party at the Black Pearl Seafood Steakhouse in Hastings, Christ Church, to thank Government agencies, Invest Barbados and the Barbados Tourism Authority, the media and corporate companies who have supported the vision of the Hal Linton project. He was simply dynamic as he belted out his local hits Cardiac Arrest and Hey Love.

He also performed two songs from the upcoming album Return From The Future - She's Dangerous, a mid-tempo groovy number, and Press Play, a soft ballad co-written with Chris Chester.

He then reached out to local stars for an impromptu session with Nexcy's Mahalia Phillips and hip hop upcomer Nitro. He then closed with Lock My Heart Down, a retro uptempo number which had supporters moving and grooving.

They included Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy, president/CEO of the Barbados Tourism Authority, David Rice, and Pearlie Drakes from Invest Barbados, who all lauded the hard work and determination of Hal and his manager, Teneille Doyle.

In between songs, Hal and Teneille presented special memorables to the minister, Rice and Invest Barbados. (SP/PR)
