DEAN ST HILL is no longer with the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).
The former programme manager for radio at the state-owned entity in the Pine, St Michael, was terminated last Friday.
St Hill had very little to say yesterday: "As far as I know I was terminated. I can't say any more than that."
He worked at CBC from 1996.
His attorney Ralph Thorne said: "At this stage any contemplation of legal action would be premature."
Repeated efforts to speak to management proved futile. (DS)

Did he jump or was he pushed ?

Overdue for a clean up from the top down. Who is the new Manager anyway and what has he brought to the table? Not seeing anything tangible under his tenure.
Retired.
Cut Back Central (CBC) : 11/20/2009
Well, it may be a blessing in disguise for you, so focus on what you still have have. With the millions in losses, we can expect more cutbacks I guess. I saw that a new Director (can't remember which department) was hired, but I did not see an advertisement for that position in the press. I will observe to see if this position for programme manager for radio will be advertised.
