Progress, but nothing of helicopter pad, ferry

I GATHER there are some mixed feelings in the community as regards all the construction plans afoot for St Lucy.

The politicians talk about the long overdue airport and cruise terminal to be built… but no mention of helicopter pads?

At the rate our highways and byways are becoming congested I would have thought there would be many people willing to buy helicopters in order to avoid the tedious and frustrating problems of driving in Barbados today.

And what about a ferry service along the West Coast? We now wait, with bated breath, to see how much more of our once beautiful, unique Bajan countryside is to be turned into yet another hurly-burly, dollars oriented area that one can find all over the world.
