Guns all just for the finding
OOPS! IT HAPPENED again. The police recently frisked a man on Bay Street. Then took him to Hastings Police Station, where they found a gun in his pocket.
My interpretation of a frisk is the patting down of pockets and certain areas of the body. How can one carry out a frisk and not discover a gun in the person’s pocket?
Only God knows because guns in Barbados seem to have a mind of their own. Ever notice how almost every man charged with possession of a gun claims that he found it?
Ironically enough, one man, who testified that he had found a gun which had fallen off the top of a car, was actually telling the truth. The owner of the gun admitted in court that he had left it on top of the car.
