PM has right to privacy

WHILE LISTENING to a call-in programme recently, moderator David Ellis read two emails from a listener wanting to know why Prime Minister David Thompson does not say exactly what is wrong with him.

I felt very hurt and upset when I heard that. We all know that the Prime Minister is a public figure.

But he also has a right to privacy.

Is the email writer a doctor? When he finds out what is wrong with Mr Thompson, then what?

Is he going to advise him on what he should do?

I think we should be more sensitive to Mr Thompson and his family.

I believe when he is ready he will say what is wrong with him. No more of the nonsense!
