BARBADOS’ junior athletes finished a commendable second to perennial champions Jamaica at the biennial Caribbean Union of Teachers (CUT) Games in St Kitts on Saturday and Sunday.The athletes matched the Jamaicans stride for stride for most of the two-day meet, as they collected 36 medals, including 15 gold, ten silver and 11 bronze.Jamaica’s final tally was 44 medals (22-13-9) while Trinidad and Tobago (6-8-6-20), The Bahamas (6-2-8-16) and the hosts, St Kitts (5-9-4-18), all finished behind Barbados.
