Support poor in tough times

THERE IS A SAYING, “when things get tough, the tough get going”, but what I see when things get tough is people in high places destroying people in low places.

You cannot destroy the poor, you will only destroy yourself in the process. “For God is for the poor (Isaiah 40:1), Comfort ye, comfort ye my people saith the Lord your God”.

Leave the poor alone and find another way to deal with the situation.

Why can’t the Government conceptualise ways to further develop and build Barbados, with the assistance of those here looking for a better way, rather than stirup discord and contention?

People are running, hiding, being put down, via deception, exploitation and deportation. Yet we say we are one people.
