How would you define your personal style?Flirty and chic. However I like to take it up a notch for special events. Do you find that you follow fashion trends or do you play by your own rules? I think keeping up with fashion trends can be difficult as they constantly change so I definitely prefer to stick with my personal style. However, I take inspiration from popular trends for certain occasions. Has your fashion sense changed over the years or has it remained the same?  It has definitely changed. Nothing in life remains constant, change is natural.  Are there any colours that you tend to shy away from, and if so why? I embrace colour. I believe choosing the correct colour combination makes a simple outfit come to life. As a child were you always into clothes or did you grow into your own fashion sense? As a teenager, I was a national swimmer and for me the latest Nike or Speedo swimsuit was as much as I was into fashion so I would definitely have to say I grew into my fashion sense. Now, all aspects of fashion excite me. How does your day-to-day life factor into your wardrobe choices? Being self-employed allows me to determine my own dress-code therefore my everyday wear is reflective of my mood. Some days I dress casually chic, other days I wear gym attire and other days business attire. Are there any designers that you like to wear or whose clothing stands out with you? Truthfully, I don’t wear designer clothes. However, I have a love for designer handbags and shoes and the right piece is usually timeless. Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tory Burch and Dior are a few of my favourites.
What are some things every woman should have in her closet?1. A classic piece of jewellery – it could be a nice watch, diamond earrings or a tennis bracelet. 2. Some controlling underwear and a good bra – this combination makes every woman look good in that “ little black dress”.3. A black dress – in the right size, not too tight.4. At least one designer bag –  instead of ten cheap bags.
