THREE men are now in custody after a fishing boat laden with drugs was intercepted on Tuesday night in an operation involving the police and the army.The joint operation involving the Drug Squad, the Royal Barbados Police Force Marine Unit, the Barbados Coast Guard and the Regional Security System was conducted at sea off South Point, Christ Church, around 11:45 p.m.Eleven polythene bags of cannabis with a weight of 419.76 pounds were seized. The fishing boat was also impounded.During the operation, one of the men was injured. He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was treated and discharged. (MK
