A St Michael family is in mourning following the death of one of its members.
Dead is 17-year-old Roosi Straughn, of Bottom Close, Wildey.
Straughn was one of seven passengers aboard a white open-back truck travelling towards Brighton, St George, when it was involved in a head-on collision with a blue open-back truck along the
St Luke’s main road. Straughn was travelling in the rear of the truck when the accident occurred.
Straughn was a student at the Barbados Vocational Training Centre, where he studied auto mechanics.
Here, Roosi’s mother, a distraught Sharon Straughn and father Charles Bourne (third from left), weeping after learning that their son had been killed. (MM)
