Rushing water
Motorists passing through Clermont yesterday probably registered shock at the sight of this large volume of water gushing from the ground.
At first look, it appears to be a burst water main spilling gallons of the precious resource onto the street, a sight which would cause any environmentally conscious Barbadian to decry the Barbados Water Authority.
However, this startling sight was infact not the result of a damaged water main, but of a controlled release of pressure which was a necessary part of work being done nearby in Warrens.
