7:43 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8 – James Johnson wasn’t that great on the links today.
But he was still good enough.
The defending champion and eight-time winner was somehow able to stay atop the leader-board of the 27th United Insurance Golf Open at the picturesque Royal Westmoreland Golf course, despite a sub-par day.
Johnson finished the day’s 18 holes with a score of 74, to stay ahead of Trinidadian Mitchum Jasper who scored 75, and Rob Stephens of Britain
and Mahendra Rajkumar of also of Trinidad, who both scored 76.
