Dear Christine,
This is ML once again asking any of your readers to please help me with a second hand refrigerator. The one that I have is cutting in and out, and I don’t have any money to buy one, or repair the one I have.
All of my things like greens, meat, and sometimes, even my food, spoil.
I don’t get old age pension as yet so I have to live off of welfare.
I suffer with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a lot more.
You have to be 66 years now to get old age pension because the Government says that the people living too long.
But they don’t say anything about when people work all their life and die between 62 and 64 years old. Who gets the money that they work and leave?
Christine, I would also like two big chairs or even a long one, as you know Christmas is coming up and I pray that the good Lord would help me to live to see it.
Thank you all for reading my plight, please help this sick old lady.
– M.L.
Dear M.L.,
I too sincerely hope that you live to enjoy this Christmas and many more. In spite of your health and financial challenges, I’m sure you would agree that life is precious and we should always try to live ours to the fullest.
As your circumstances are known to us here, we would urge any readers who may be able to assist you o do so.
We are concerned though about your health and what you’re doing to help yourself improve your condition.
We are sure your doctors would have advised you on what to eat and not to eat, the need to take your prescribed medication and get some form of exercise for at least 20 to 30 minutes a day.
The latter, for example, may involve walking around the avenue to visit neighbours.
My friend, I hope that you remain mindful of the healthy things you need to do everyday so you will be around with us for many years to come.
– Christine
