• Ellen Extensions launch event at 212 Mahoe Avenue, Sunset Crest, St James. Lifestyle Beauty is a fashion and beauty extravaganga incorporating high fashion and beauty and spa treatments.
• Surfer’s Bay is the venue for the Virgin Music Festival with The Dub Pistols, Buggy, High Grade, Jointpop, Driftwould, Nick Timothy, Psilos, Standing Penance and Vacant Head Space. Doors open at 1 p.m.
• The Spirit Of The Nation show at the gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex at 6 p.m.
• Charity show of The Grinch at St?Winifred’s School at 6 p.m.
• Opening of the Benchmarks exhibition at Aweipo Gallery, Crane, St Philip at 6 p.m. It features the work of Nick Barnett, Cathy Cummins, Annalee Davis, Neville Legall, Denzil Mann, Rafza Nehaul, Rupert Piggot, Martine Pile, Ricardo Skeete, Don Small and Kraig Yearwood.
SUNDAY
• The Virgin Music Festival concludes at Surfer’s Bay with Dub Pistols Soundsystem, The Martin Harley Band, Fighting Traffic, Ian Eyan Alleyne, Jamie Da Lonya, Simon Pipe, Jae & Kev, Tony Roberts, Blak Kla Soyl and Sonia Eden. Doors open at noon.
• Northern Primary Schools Choir Competition at Alexandra School at 4 p.m.
• The LIME/NIFCA Gala at the gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex at 6 p.m.
• Beat One The Search Finals at the Plantation Garden Theatre at 8 p.m.

• Hennessy Artistry featuring Beres Hammond, Cocoa Tea, Gyptian, Gappy Ranks, Hezron, Buggy and others at the National Stadium on December 4 at 9 p.m.
