There was an early morning robbery at the Barbados National Bank (BNB) in Wildey St Michael.
Just minutes ago police public relations officer Inspector David Welch confirmed that they received a call just after 9 this morning “about a person entering the bank”. He also confirmed that the person was armed with a gun.
Welch said they were already questioning someone in relation to that incident.
“Our reports so far is not no one has been injured. Quick action by the police has also led to someone being questioned”.
Welch said they were continuing their investigations.
More details to come.
