Kensington Oval will be transformed on December 5 into a magical set when the 2010 Coca Cola Christmas Winterland Parade ’N Show comes off. This electrical parade will feature over 20 characters featuring the Backyardigans, SpongeBob, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Shrek, Princess Fiona, Dora, Diego, Boots, Hello Kitty and many more.
There will also be live floats, majorettes and dancers, all of which will be included in the magical parade starting at 5:30 p.m. sharp.
Patrons will also get to experience the Christmas Cultural Village, which will have entertainment from the time the gates open at 3:30 p.m. Patrons can also hear school choirs and steel orchestras perform whilse visiting all the many shops in the village and Santa’s North Pole.
After the parade, there will be a 90-minute production with Dora The Explorer And Friends in concert entitled Dora and Friends In A Christmas Cheer. (MH/PR)
