CASTRIES, St. Lucia — St. Lucians will tomorrow get into a reflective mode in recognition of its National Day and those who lost their lives during the October 30 passage of Hurricane Tomas.
Prime Minister Stephenson King said that the government is partnering with faith-based organisations around the island to observe December 13 as the National Day of Prayer under the theme: “A Nation Inspired By Hope United In Prayer”.
“The entire nation is invited to set aside time to pray for the people whose lives have been affected as a result of the devastating events related to the passage of Hurricane Tomas,” King said.
“The Day of Prayer is meant as a time for national reflection on our individual lives and our country as we seek the Lord’s intervention and deliverance in the process of recovery and rebuilding.” (CMC)
