Chris Brown was so proud about finishing his yearlong, court-ordered domestic-violence class that he posted his certificate of completion online on Monday. He wrote on Twitter ” I’m done with class” the singer, 21, wrote on Twitter, with a link to a photo of the certificate. He later added another post, reflecting on how he’s changed since being convicted of felony assault against his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009. “I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class,” Brown wrote: “Boyz run from [their] mistakes. Men learn from them!!!”
In August 2009, Brown was sentenced to six months of community labour, five years of probation and the one-year domestic-violence class. He was also ordered to pay fines and told not to have any communication with Rihanna for five years. He was convicted of assaulting Rihanna in the early hours of Feb. 8, 2009, during an argument in a vehicle in Los Angeles. (CNN)
